Album ini merupakan sebuah paket indah yang disatukan oleh bos label Bruce Iglauer untuk merayakan ulang tahun ke-40 Alligator Records yang terkenal di dunia. Koleksi dua cd meliputi penyanyi-penyanyi pertama yang ditangani oleh label seperti Hound Dog Taylor, Son Seals dan Koko Taylor, dan penyanyi blues saat ini seperti Michael Burks dan Lil' Ed & The Blues Imperials, serta JJ Grey & Mofro dan Anders Osborne.
